Africans need to rise up and have a mind set that we are alone in this. "They" just don't care. Don't we have enough resources to take of ourselves? Where are our economists, researchers, educators, climate scientists. Let's change the narrative of waiting for aid.

We started taking climate change curriculum in schools in 2021, to make sure we prepare the future of the next generation with the help of UNICEF.
The climate curriculum should be introduced at the school level to understand environmental changes. Creative arts, quizzes, presentations, science fairs on climate are important. At the higher education level, the students should enhance their skills to develop technological solutions directly or indirectly.
Countries have committed to prioritizing progress for those who are furthest behind. The SDGs are designed to end poverty, hunger, AIDS, and discrimination against women and girls.
The creativity, know-how, technology, and financial resources from all of society are necessary to achieve the SDGs in every context.
